is an independent company
with a history of over ten
years as developers and system integrators of innovative
business applications and solutions in the Information
and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.
We have been pioneers in the evangelisation, introduction,
and use of "open systems" in Italy. We designed, developed
and deployed some of the first Internet-based e-business
solutions (1993), anticipating since then the fundamental
role that Internet and the "open systems" technologies
would play in bringing the emerging "digital economy"
within reach of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Our main market is in the
provision of business and operation support systems,
system integration services, and strategic & technological
consulting services on the ICT technologies and applications.
For us, technology is never a value
by itself but only a means to be used sensibly in order
to provide solutions to the real-world needs of our
customers.
COSI customers include the main national telecom operators
and, also, several service-oriented companies and SMEs
that, through our support, have exploited the emerging
opportunities offered by e-business.
